Here are the steps to submit your listing to EBBC’s East Bay Perinatal Professionals Directory…
1) Are you a perinatal professional actively providing services to clients in the East Bay, CA? If yes, continue on!
2) We ask that you read our Equitable Care Directory Agreement below. If you agree to these guidelines, continue on!
3) You will be asked to submit your name and email address below as your agreement to the Equitable Care Directory Agreement. This will automatically bring you to our payment portal to submit your subscription fee of $5/month.
4) After submitting payment, you’ll have access to instructions to submit your listing through Community Box and once approved (please allow up to 2 weeks), your listing will be visible here.

Equitable Care Directory Agreement for the East Bay Birth Collective Directory
The East Bay Birth Collective is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable community of perinatal support providers. By joining our directory, providers agree to uphold the following principles:
Non-Discrimination Providers must affirm that their practice does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, socioeconomic status, or any other protected characteristic. All clients deserve respectful, compassionate, and culturally competent care.
Commitment to Equity Providers are encouraged to actively seek ways to promote equity within their practices and the broader perinatal care community. This includes recognizing and addressing systemic barriers that may affect marginalized communities.
Cultural Humility Providers are expected to approach their work with cultural humility, seeking to understand and respect the unique needs, values, and traditions of each client.
Client Feedback and Accountability Providers must remain open to feedback from clients and be willing to engage in meaningful communication if a client expresses concerns or makes a complaint about their services. Providers agree to take reasonable steps to address issues and ensure clients feel heard and respected. Providers understand that they may be removed from the directory if the East Bay Birth Collective receives two or more complaints about violations of this code.
Ethical Practice Providers agree to run their business ethically, ensuring that they provide the services agreed upon with clients in a professional manner. They will fulfill their obligations to clients to the best of their ability and in accordance with any compensation received.
Professional Growth Providers are encouraged to engage in ongoing education and self-reflection to improve their understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in perinatal care. This includes staying informed about best practices and emerging issues in DEI.
